The Utah Pipe Band was formed in 1937 by Robert S. Barclay, and is still under the direction of the Barclay family today.  We are the oldest, continuously organized pipe band in the Western United States

This band has competed in major pipe band competitions throughout the Western United States.

We also have a troupe of award winning Scottish dancers who travel and perform with us.

The members of our band come from  all over Northern Utah. We love to play music and have fun at the same time.

We can be hired for large or small events.  Need a band, need just one or two pipers or a dancer?  Let us know, go to our contact page and give us a call or send an email.

Our tartan is the Barclay ancient hunting tartan.

   Practices

We hold practice on Thursday nights 6:30pm in Sandy, Utah just about 10100 South State Street, at the Lake Hills Mortuary.

We're outside in good/warm weather and inside in bad/cold weather.

If you would like to join in the fun with us as a piper, drummer, or dancer,  email us. We'd love to have you!  Lessons are available for piping, drumming, and dancing.
