I started learning the pipes in the summer of 2009. My first teacher was Matt Earl. He was AWESOME!!! Then, when he went to college, I switched over to Tom McOmie, who I currently have. He is just as AWESOME!! My first performance was my 7th grade culture assembly. I had fun doing that! I have always loved the sound of the bagpipes. I have always thought that it would be a fun instrument to play. I love everything about the pipes!!
I love to watch and play almost every sport there is. My favorite out of all of them to play and watch is basketball. I like the Jazz, Anaheim Angels, Chicago Blackhawks, but most of all BYU! Yes, that means I am a huge Jimmer Fredette fan also. I love astronomy, camping, hiking, hanging out with my friends, spending time with my family, and listening to music,
I am happy to be a part of this awesome pipe band. I am especially glad that I wrote this bio before Tom wrote it for me.
