I have been learning the Great Highland Bagpipes since 
June of 2010. I have always loved the sound of the pipes. A 
few months before I bought my practice chanter and got 
serious about learning both my grandparents passed away. 
Kilts and bagpipes were highlights at both funerals. The 
passing of grandpa and grandma sparked an intrest in my 
family to keep alive our heritage. My brother Jon and my dad 
Ed have all bought Loch Haven pipes from Ash Boyle and take 
weekly lessons from Tom McOmie. I love being a member of the Utah Pipeband. Thursdays are my favorite day of the week.

My other passion in life is 4 wheeling and camping. I love working on my jeep and modifying it to go up steeper hills, over bigger rocks, and through deeper rivers. If I didnt love piping so much I would have more time to spend with my jeep.

I have been married for 6 years to the cutest tenor drummer ever and we have a boy named William after his great grandpa who came to the states in 1947.
